Federica Aiello
Researcher - Pisa
Research interests
Federica’s research activities are based on the use of solution NMR spectroscopy for the investigation of interaction processes involving organic molecules. Her research is focused on the analysis of molecular recognition phenomena in drug/protein systems, on the characterization of nanoparticles exploited for drug delivery and drug release, and on the application of macromolecules used in chiral discrimination studies or as stability/solubility agents. In the field of materials sciences, her interests cover the characterization of materials used in photovoltaic applications, the study of their degradation phenomena and the analysis of interaction processes with low and high molecular weight additives.
