Research interests

Expert Microbiologist in propagation and cultivation of bacteria, with multidisciplinary preparation acquired at the University of Bari, Aldo Moro (DISSPA) and at the National Research Council (IPCF). Her current focus is to study the antimicrobial activity of photocatalytic and non-photocatalytic nanoparticles, synthesized in the laboratory (suspension or deposited) or hybrid nanomaterials, using bacterial and non-bacterial strains. Moreover, she has learned synthesis and characterization of nanoparticles. She is consulted as a referee by international journals. She is currently in the Scientific Committee of the digital journal NOVASINERGIA (Chimborazo, Ecuador) and Guest Editor of Special Issues MDPI. Furthermore, she co-authored 18 articles, 1 book chapter and 1 international patent.
