Giuseppe Annino
Researcher - Pisa
Research interests
Giuseppe’s research activity is focused on electromagnetic waves and their interaction with materials, in a spectral range from hundreds of MHz to some THz. In particular, he worked on the theoretical investigation of propagating and resonating electromagnetic phenomena (by means of numerical and experimental modeling). His current research activities cover the development of magnetic resonance techniques, the dielectric characterization of materials at 2.45 GHz and in a temperature range from 20 °C to 1200 °C, the study of the confinement properties of radiation in open resonators, the development of techniques for microwave sterilization, and the treatment of ceramic materials via microwave-assisted chemical processes.
