Research interests
As a scientist, my research interests are mainly focused on colloidal nanocrystalline quantum dots, with a particular focus on their organization in ordered assemblies and the development of nanocomposite materials. My work aims to explore the properties and potential applications of these fascinating materials in the fields of optoelectronics and energy conversion. To achieve this, I employ a range of techniques for characterizing the optical, morphological, and structural properties of semiconductor and hybrid nanostructures. By gaining a deeper understanding of these materials at the nanoscale level, I hope to contribute to the development of novel technologies that can address some of the key challenges facing our society today, such as energy efficiency and sustainability.
