Research interests

Since 2024, Federica started working on the research project “PRIOMAPS” (PRIOritizzazione degli interventi di MAnutenzione di Pavimentazioni Stradali per la riduzione dell’esposizione al rumore) funded by Regione Toscana, with the aim to develop an automatic system for identifying road defects. The system is based on the use of images neural networks for objects identification and on the analysis of audio signals acquired inside the tire cavity.
