Massimo \u00e8 infatti coinvolto nella ricerca sulla fotosintesi da oltre due decenni. \nHa iniziato ad interessarsi ai meccanismi molecolari della fotosintesi per approdare oggi alle applicazioni tecnologiche di questo processo per la salvaguardia dell\u2019ambiente, la produzione di energia e la cattura di biossido di carbonio.
