La ricerca \u00e8 focalizzata sullo sviluppo di nuove procedure di immobilizzazione degli enzimi e sul meccanismo di interazione tra nanoparticelle di oro e biomolecole\/biosistemi. \nGli interessi di ricerca sono rivolti anche allo studio della funzionalit\u00e0 delle proteine di membrana (trasferimento di elettroni e legame di cofattori) in matrici amorfe e in sistemi mimetici di membrana. Inoltre vengono studiate anche le interazioni tensioattivi-proteine e la stabilit\u00e0 termica delle proteine mediante un insieme di tecniche tra cui il Dynamic Light Scattering, l'elettroforesi Laser Doppler e la spettroscopia di fluorescenza. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Research interest has also focused on studies of membrane protein functionality (electron transfer and cofactor binding) in amorphous matrices and mimetic membrane systems.
