In particolare, nell\u2019ambito di progetti europei o regionali, ha sviluppato processi a basso impatto in cui modificare la struttura macromolecolare di fibre lignocellulosiche, di proteine vegetali o animali, di polisaccaridi o di oligomeri naturali, per costituire la fase dispersa o continua in nuove miscele e compositi fisici o reattivi. Su queste tematiche, conduce da anni attivit\u00e0 di divulgazione in presenza ed online e dal 2018, \u00e8 membro-fondatore del Gruppo WoW, formato da personale CNR. Fa parte del gruppo organizzativo di Science Colloquia di CNR-IPCF.
