Attualmente, lo stato delle pavimentazioni viene valutato con sopralluoghi sull\u2019intera rete attraverso ispezione visiva, con grande dispendio di tempo e di risorse umane ed economiche. L\u2019obiettivo del progetto \u00e8 quindi quello di sviluppare un sistema di riconoscimento automatico degli ammaloramenti dell\u2019asfalto che consenta un monitoraggio completo e frequente della rete. Il sistema si basa sulla misura del livello sonoro all\u2019interno di uno pneumatico, il rilievo della pavimentazione attraverso una videocamera e l\u2019utilizzo di metodi di AI per l\u2019analisi dei dati acustici e visivi raccolti. Il sistema sar\u00e0 installato su uno specifico mezzo che, transitando sulla pavimentazione, sar\u00e0 in grado di caratterizzarne lo stato attraverso l\u2019elaborazione dei dati raccolti. I risultati verranno quindi georeferenziati.
