Il poli(acido lattico) (PLA) \u00e8 uno dei biopolimeri pi\u00f9 utilizzati e studiati, grazie alla sua biodegradabilit\u00e0, biocompatibilit\u00e0 e al suo costo relativamente basso. Per migliorare le propriet\u00e0 del PLA una procedura ampiamente utilizzata \u00e8 l\u2019aggiunta di filler di dimensioni nanometriche per la produzione di nanocompositi. La sfida principale per lo sviluppo di nanocompositi a base di PLA con applicazioni tecnologiche avanzate \u00e8 la capacit\u00e0 di comprendere, adattare e ottimizzare la struttura e le propriet\u00e0 delle interfasi che si instaurano tra il polimero e il nanofiller.
