sistemi nanostrutturati sia dal punto di vista della scienza di base che di quella applicata, mediante l'utilizzo di un'ampia gamma di tecniche spettroscopiche, dallo scattering di luce alla fluorescenza risolta nel tempo e all'ottica non lineare. La ricerca riguarda lo studio delle propriet\u00e0 dinamiche e strutturali di polimeri, macromolecole, nanoparticelle, nanocompositi, gel e sistemi auto-aggregati, ma anche lo studio delle interazioni sopramolecolari che guidano l'aggregazione e dei fenomeni di riconoscimento molecolare in diverse condizioni sperimentali. Le applicazioni sono principalmente connesse alla progettazione e realizzazione di nuove metodologie per quantificare i principi attivi di formulazioni farmaceutiche e per il controllo della loro stabilit\u00e0 colloidale. Si effettua anche la determinazione della distribuzione dimensionale di particolato disperso in acqua ed in aria e di particolato nei rifiuti
